The best way to reach Islamorada for our wedding weekend is to fly into Miami International Airport (MIA), which is about a 1.5 to 2-hour drive from the Islander Resort.

Rental Car: The most convenient way to explore the area is by renting a car at the airport. Major rental companies like Enterprise, Hertz, and Budget operate out of MIA.

Airport Transfer Shuttle: Several shuttle services offer direct transfers from MIA to Islamorada, including Keys Shuttle and Florida Keys Express Shuttle. We recommend booking in advance!

Uber/Lyft: Rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are available from Miami to Islamorada, though prices can vary depending on demand.

Whichever option you choose, enjoy the scenic drive down the Overseas Highway—it’s part of the Florida Keys experience!
